Petrosains regrets to inform that the Petrosains RBTX Challenge workshops, clinics and competitions including the zone qualifying rounds and grand finals have been cancelled to safeguard the health and safety of participants and supporters amidst the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. The decision was made after careful assessment on the developments of the COVID-19 situation in the country and is in line with the Ministry of Health’s advice to defer mass gatherings for up to 12 months.

We truly regret the inconvenience caused to all participants and supporters who looked forward to this and have worked hard to prepare for the competition.

We hope to be able to safely organize the Petrosains RBTX Challenge in 2021 and look forward to your participation and support when the competition returns.

The Competition

Petrosains RBTX Challenge is an event where all robotics enthusiast will gather to learn, discover, and battle out their robotic creations in an open source software. This program is aimed to provide the necessary STEM digital skill building to embrace the Industrial Revolution 4.0 i.e. coding, robotics, embedded programming. It is an event that also provides a universal platform for all walks of life to explore and share their interest and knowledge in robotics.

The Petrosains RBTX Challenge 2020 is an initiative organized by Petrosains and endorsed by the Sports and Arts Education Division, Ministry of Education, Malaysia.
