Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage (CCUS)
Carbon is a nonmetallic chemical element with atomic number 6 that readily forms compounds with many other elements and is a constituent of organic compounds in all known living tissues. One of the term we use quite often is carbon footprint, it is a term associates with the amount of greenhouse gases that are generated by human activities.
Through the activities lined up for the next few months until June 2022, the event intended to promote and expose CCUS to our local community and the advancement in CCUS Technologies.
The activities will also highlights PETRONAS’ consistent and unwavering commercial technological advancement in CCUS, especially in oil and gas industry.
