Come over and discover the
Clean Energy Solutions

Come over and join us to discover Clean Energy Solution Toward Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions to achieve net-zero carbon emissions. Take a part in our workshops with interactive activities and meet the expert in this program.

PETRONAS has declared its new aspiration – to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Our Aspiration heralds a new chapter as we continue our sustainability journey together with all our stakeholders: employees, customers, partners and communities. Together, we want to shape a future that coming generations can look forward to.

In strengthening our commitment toward sustainability, PETRONAS is focusing on 7 Sustainable Development Goals – in areas in which we can make the greatest impact. These goals are our call to action in PETRONAS Sustainability Agenda with the four Sustainability Lenses as the pillars, also our blueprint in ensuring that our businesses encompass #sustainablevalue4all

With climate change causing unprecedented changes on the planet, the call for cleaner energy is becoming louder. This school holiday programme aims to introduce and advocate for cleaner energy solutions, with focus areas including the future of gas and new energy, in support of PETRONAS’ sustainability agenda. The clean energy solutions entity will provide customers with lower carbon solutions in three initial core offerings – Renewables, Hydrogen and Green Mobility.

Science Shows

Green Gas Show

Enjoy the show while learning about gas properties and a little more about the adverse affects of greenhouse gas emissions on the environment. The demonstration (such as Deadly CO2 and Flammable Bubble) illustrate the characteristics of carbon dioxide and how an increase in carbon dioxide may destroy our ecosystem and cause climate change.

Green Energy Show

Let’s explore more about various types of renewable energy, specifically on solar energy and one of the latest new energy – HYDROGEN! Find out if it’s true that hydrogen can be a cleaner fuel as compared to the normal fuel in reducing the greenhouse gas emission.

Green Water Show

Water is a resource that should not be taken for granted. It needs to be conserved, just as we save other valuable resources in order to provide us with constant supply of our future needs. Let’s explore the unique physical and chemical properties of water and discover how water can detect the presence of GHG in our environment.

1 Science Show 1.

3. Green Water Show
Water is a resource that should not be taken for granted. It needs to be conserved, just as we save other valuable resources in order to provide us with constant supply of our future needs. Let’s explore the unique physical and chemical properties of water and discover how water can detect the presence of GHG in our environment.
2 Pancasains 1. COØ (See ‘O’ Nought)
CO2 is one of the green house gases that helps to keep the Earth warm. However, the increase in CO2 concentration can cause the rise of global temperature. Did you know that CO2 is denser than surrounding air? Let’s explore the characteristics of CO2 to understand how the gas can trap heat when it is abundance in the environment and get to know the efforts of PETRONAS towards Net Zero Carbon Emission.

2. CARBON-opoly
The carbon footprint refers to the overall amount of greenhouse gases produced primarily by human actions. To gain a better understanding of our carbon footprint in daily activities and make more environmentally conscious choices to minimize the impact of climate change, let’s engage in an enjoyable and interactive game called CARBON-opoly.

3. Trash to Gas
Biomass : Have you ever heard about biomass and types of biomass that we have on Earth? Discover the best biomass in producing biogas and figure out how much biogas each biomass make in the production of methane gas through our simple demonstration.
Garbage Enzyme : Nowadays, the earth temperature is increasing without us noticing it. Have you ever wondered how can we reduce the rising temperature? It’s GARBAGE ENZYME! The production of garbage enzyme generates ground-level Ozone (O3) that helps to maintain the earth’s temperature and help ease global warming. Come and join us to learn how to repurpose some of your garbage in the kitchen to be more environmental friendly!

4. Engine Emissions
Have you ever seen smokes coming out from the cars or any transport on the road? Even if you can’t see them, there are harmful gases that came out of the exhaust due to the burning fuel, for the car to move! How dangerous can it be? Let’s explore the different energy sources of today’s transportation and how these various types of transport are contributing to climate change.
5. Carbon Footprint Calculator
Did you know how much carbon that we utilize on daily basis? Could you identify which habit that we need to change in the effort to reduce our carbon footprint? Let’s calculate how our daily activities affect carbon footprint, and explore more on how can we help to reduce carbon emission by managing our carbon footprint.
