Petrosains Sdn. Bhd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Berhad
(PETRONAS), a global energy company. It oversees the operations of two iconic national
institutions: Petrosains, The Discovery Centre®, and the world-renowned PETRONAS Twin
Towers.
Our Story
Petrosains, The Discovery Centre® embodies the essence of interactive, experiential
learning—everything a science centre should be. With engaging exhibits and dynamic in-
reach and outreach activities, we make STEM (science, technology, engineering, and
mathematics) both enjoyable and inspiring. As an extension of PETRONAS’ commitment to
nation-building, Petrosains nurtures a deep passion for STEM, fostering a new generation of
Malaysians who are driven by innovation and inspired by the possibilities of science and
