Lead, steer, and advance PETROSAINS’ Learning & Satellite Centers by strategizing and implementing innovative and cutting-edge STEM/TVET Learning Programs across multiple platforms. Elevate and position Petrosains and Petrosains Satellite Centers as leading centers of excellence in STEM, enhancing Science & Technology literacy, broaden Malaysia’s science capital, nurturing future STEM talents, and significantly contributing to PETRONAS’ Social Impact and Corporates goals, in alignment with the National Agenda.

1. Strategic Learning Innovation
   Develop and lead innovative learning strategies, integrating cutting-edge educational trends and STEM advancements to position Petrosains as a national leader in STEM education.
   Foster strategic partnerships with educational institutions and industry leaders to enhance program quality and impact.
2. Satellite Centres Excellence
   Champion the strategic evolution of Satellite Centers, positioning them as key STEM education hubs. Ensure operational excellence, leading to enriched community engagement and elevated PETRONAS brand recognition
3. Learning Programs Delivery and Impact Evaluation
   Direct the delivery and continuous improvement of STEM programs, leveraging data analytics to measure effectiveness and align with industry best practices for maximal educational impact.
4. Performance Tracking and Monitoring
   Spearhead departmental strategy, establishing KPIs and budget alignments with strategic priorities. Monitor financial and operational performance to ensure sustainability and efficiency.
5. STEM Product Innovation
   Drive and lead the R&D for STEM Learning product and solutions, encompassing both services and physical products, to meet the dynamic market demand and support PETROSAINS’ revenue growth.
6. Public Relations and Stakeholders Management
   Lead and Drive in enhancing working relationship with stakeholders which include MOE,MOSTI, State Government agencies, through intelligent rapport building initiatives and collaborative approach reinforcing Petrosains’ role as prominent Social Impact key player in STEM.
7. Strategic Partnership
   Strategies and drive partnership strategy through collaboration and networking with other government agencies, PETRONAS OPUs and other private sectors to maximize PETROSAINS’ impact and value through strategic partnerships, sponsorship opportunities, and programmatic support.
8. Operational Excellence
   Oversee operational management, ensuring adherence to HSE policies and governance standards to maintain Petrosains’ reputation and operational integrity.

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Science Communication, Education, or a related field is required. A Master’s or PhD qualification is highly advantageous.
• Minimum 15 years working experience in education related position preferably in an informal education environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in STEM education, experiential learning, and technology integration, with a strong track record in science communication.
• Highly competent in science communication and can represent PETROSAINS in many circumstances.
• Strong leadership and management skills with critical thinking, creative, and capable of managing people, and monitoring administration works, policy development, staff development, budgeting for department/section in a company and able to adapt to changes in the environment.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire and drive innovation within teams and able to quickly adapt to changes as to response to the dynamic market demand. ​
