JOB PURPOSE

Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex information systems to meet the business needs of the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, developing detailed system specifications, and ensuring the successful integration and optimization of IT solutions. Leverage on extensive experience in cybersecurity, website management, project management, vendor management, and stakeholder management to deliver secure, efficient, and effective technological solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the technical team, ensuring best practices and standards are upheld. Deep understanding of both business processes and technical systems, enabling the translation of business requirements into effective and efficient technological solutions.​
 
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
 
System Analysis
  • Conduct thorough analysis of current major systems and processes to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness and monitor system performance while troubleshooting issues as they arise. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and recommend innovative solutions. Prepare detailed reports and documentation on system performance and improvement initiatives. Ideally, will also providing support and training to end-users to ensure optimal use of the existing or future systems when needed.
Project Mangement
  • Oversee projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organization’s goals. Create detailed project plans, coordinating with various teams, and monitoring progress to address challenges effectively. Ensure smooth collaboration and achieving desired outcomes are key aspects. Emphasize on planning, organization, and communication for successful project execution.
Cybersecurity Management
  • Ability to regularly assess systems for vulnerabilities and apply necessary patches or updates, including Cybersecurity assessment such as CSBRA (Cybersecurity Business Risk Acceptance) and BIA (Business Impact Analysis). Proficient in implementing role-based access control (RBAC) to restrict access to sensitive data and functions. Ensuring data protection by managing and encrypting data both in transit and at rest, while closely collaborating with Cybersecurity teams to address any issues or incidents, is also essential.
Website Management and Security
  • Solid foundation in web development and management, along with excellent analytical skills and effectively collaborate with Cybersecurity experts to ensure robust protection of web applications. Has some configuration knowledge on Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) to filter and monitor traffic, utilizing encryption techniques to safeguard data, regularly updating software to patch vulnerabilities, and conducting thorough security audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
API Development and Integration
  • Ability to design and implement APIs to enable communication between different parts of the system and with third-party services, create comprehensive API documentation for both internal and external use, and monitor and update APIs to ensure they remain functional and secure.
Digital Transformation
  • Strategize and implement comprehensive digital transformation initiatives across the organization and its satellite centers, focusing on the integration of cloud technologies, IoT, and digital tools to optimize operations and enrich visitor experiences. Implement strategic digital roadmaps in alignment with organizational objectives and visitor expectations, leveraging data insights and industry trends for informed technology choices.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System, Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in a relevant field, with a strong preference for backgrounds in System/Business Analysis, Project Management, Application Development, Cybersecurity, Web Management, Cloud Technology and relevant.
  • Familiar with programming languages related to web management (backend), cloud technology, API etc and demonstrating a versatile and in-depth coding skill set.
  • Advanced working knowledge of operating systems including Windows, and Linux, with a focus on ensuring seamless software and hardware integration and cross-platform file compatibility.
  • Familiar with end-to-end ticketing system, cloud migration or digital retail projects are highly regarded but not mandatory.

Job Management and Organizational Design
  • Plan and strategies the job management and organisational design through consistent review and benchmarking exercise in order for the company to remain sustainable and relevant to support its corporate business needs and PETRONAS/Board’s direction and in a manner that will contribute significantly its functionality in a science centre industry and also as a PETRONAS-owned company

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in human resource management / business administration or any relevant field.
  • Minimum 10- 15 years of experience in human resource management or business administration or their related areas.
  • Broad understanding of the business value chain and able to assimilate easily with different stakeholders.
  • Leading multiple areas of HR Value Chain or Enterprise projects/ initiatives.
  • Strong networking within the Oil & Gas Industry, and other industries as relevant; both locally and globally, is an advantage.

JOB PURPOSE

Lead and manage the technical design, development, and execution of engineering aspects within the Science Discovery Centre, PETRONAS Twin Towers Visit, Satellite Centres and Outreach projects. The Senior Project Engineer will coordinate technical requirements, evaluate engineering solutions, and ensure the application of standards across all project phases, from planning and design to execution and commissioning. This role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure all projects meet technical, safety, quality, and sustainability requirements.
 
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategy and Plans
  • Develop and refine project plans that align with organizational goals, standards, and requirement. Collaborate with project team members to develop specifications, layouts, and requirements that meet project objectives. Contribute technical insights for project charters, ensuring that scope, deliverables, and resources are appropriately defined and aligned with organizational goals.
Managing Project Execution
  • Coordinate and monitor on-site activities, ensuring adherence to approved plans, codes, and standards. Oversee the work of designer, content specialist, consultant and contractors to ensure that activities are executed as per plan, on time, and within budget. Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and testing to verify compliance with project specifications, reporting any issues promptly to mitigate delays or quality compromises.

  • Ensure that all work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and organizational standards, including HSE policies. Act as a point of reference for project team members to uphold project compliance with statutory and organizational safety guidelines​

 

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years’ working experience of strategic project management experience in a complex, technology-driven environment, with a proven track record of leading large-scale, innovative projects to successful completion.
  • Certifications in Project Management (PMP), Agile (Scrum Master), or Lean Six Sigma are advantageous.

Department administration
  • Assist Director of Department and coordinate departmental administration demands and necessities through efficient reporting, monitoring, documenting and filing of items related to :- Budget & Expenses, Planners & Calendars, KPI & EPM, Trainings, Meetings, Roster and personnel movements, Travelling related matter ie. Accommodation, Logistic etc, Administer, tracking and monitoring departmental asset, and ensure all relevant information and documents are organized and easily accessible for management and reporting purposes.
Inter Departmental Representatives
  • Liaison officer for Sales and Marketing Department to streamline the details and requirements for department by maintaining thorough knowledge of the marketing and communicate successfully with other departments to develop a greater understanding.
Special Programs
  • Assist in organizing and managing any events that involve partners, clients and other marketing related projects through close discussion/relationship with other Departments and/or stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing projects reports and presentations for management review in order to position Petrosains and Petronas Twin Towers Visit as a leading and credible science centre.
 
Department Finance and Procurement Representative
  • Execute and administer end-to-end finance and procurement and related matters through efficient and effective implementation of systems such as SAP, eProcurement, MDG etc.
  • To ensure all purchasing and procurement process processes involved are systematically and effectively performed with a high standard of integrity, professionalism and quality.
  • To provide administrative support to the Commercial and Business Department including tracking of departmental budget expenditure and overseeing departmental assets requirement via in depth understanding of company standards to ensure desired expectations are met.
  • Liaison person for the GFS team regarding invoices and payments in accordance with company policies and procedures also to Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
 
Training
  • Administer and arrange departmental needs of training programs aligned with the latest and current demands to ensure staff have the opportunity to upskill and reskill for the sustainability and relevance of the staff in the informal STEM learning industry.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience. Fresh graduates with strong academic qualifications will be favourably considered

  • Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
